The Morton Park District Recreation Center, located at 324 Detroit St., offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities. The Astroturf Arena is 166' long by 80' wide with permanent sideboards for enclosed indoor soccer play. The arena is currently scheduled for several sessions of indoor soccer play from October to June. In addition, the field is open to the public for early morning walking three days a week during the winter months (November - April). Daytime adult exercise classes and children's tumbling and dance classes are also offered throughout the year.

The arena is used by the Morton School District for practice use by the football, track and soccer teams. Bradley University and Illinois Central College also use the arena for their soccer programs.. The Park District offers rental of the facility for use by school, church or private parties. The Recreation Center also contains a 60' by 25' all purpose room and two additional smaller rooms for meeting and program use.
