Aupperle working on the Northwood Park totem pole that
he and Jay Ackerman carved
from a tree stump in the Park. Both of them served as
Board members on the first Park Board
of Commissioners in 1967. The totem displays animals that
inhabit Northwood Park including
an Owl, Fox. Deer, and Raccoon.
Dedication
of the high School soccer field at McClallen as "Rotary
Field" on the October 10.
The Moton Rotary Club has committed $50,000.00 to improve
the entire McClallen Park soccer complex for youth, High
School, and adult soccer play.
Groundbreaking
ceremony for the new indoor batting facility at the Westwood
Park baseball complex. The group photo includes individuals
from the Bob Brenkman Family, Morton Youth
Baseball Association (MYBA), Morton Community Foundation,
and Morton Park District.
