The
oldest park in Morton is located off of North Main
Street across from Northwood
Park. The 17-acre park has a long history of hosting
family reunions and large community gatherings. The
park contains a large shelter north of the parking
lot and a smaller shelter on the south drive. Both
are available on a first come, first served basis.
Restroom facilities are located in the building across
from the main shelter. There are water fountains and
electricity at the north shelter only. Fires are permitted
in designated fire rings only. Wood is available in
the wood box west of the parking lot. The park also
has a playground. Overnight camping is allowed by
permit only. Permits are available at the Park District
office.
