Horseshoe
Park is located at the corner of Jefferson and Seventh
Streets. The one-acre park is the smallest in the
Park District and is developed on land that once marked
the location of the curve in the old interurban railroad
where the trains turned towards Mackinaw. The park
currently contains three horseshoe courts that it
is named for. There are also picnic tables and a water
fountain in the park. Local Girl Scouts maintain the
flowers around the park sign. The park is also an
excellent location to watch the annual Morton
Pumpkin Festival parade.
