BOYS BASKETBALL SHOOTING & OFFENSIVE DEVELOPMENT CAMP
SHOOTING! the bottom line in basketball is shooting. This highly regarded camp is designed to improve individual shooting techniques for each camper. This camp is recommended as a buildup to the individual skill development camp from June 6 - 17th. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, drill booklet and a shot chart with recommendations listed as to how to improve your shooting. Instructors will be full time district 709 coaches. Camp times subject to change according to the last day of school.

BOYS BASKETBALL INDIVIDUAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT CAMP
We sincerely believe that each individual will improve his overall game by attending this 2-week long camp. Emphasis will be placed on the development of individual offensive and defensive skills. Each player will be placed in drill situations, which are structured to work on the fundamentals of the game. This camp is used in conjunction with the July camp as a buildup to team play. In addition to basketball skills, teamwork and the use of positive interaction will be emphasized fore each camper. Each age group will use adjustable baskets and sized basketballs to match their individual capabilities. The camp staff will consist of district 709 coaches and current members of the Morton High School Basketball Team. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, drill booklet, report card and goal setting manual. All campers will meet at the high school to begin every day.

Note: The last day of camp of the first week (June 10th) will be parent/child day.

BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM BUILDING CAMP
The emphasis on this camp, along with individual skill development, is to work on team-oriented situations. Such as: 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 situations. We believe participation in this camp is vital for the growth of our program. In addition to basketball skills, teamwork and the use of positive interaction will be emphasized for each camper. Each age group will use adjustable baskets and sized basketballs to match their individual capabilities. The camp staff will consist of full time 709 coaches and the current members of the Morton High School Basketball Team. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, ball, drill booklet, report card and goal setting manual. All campers will meet at the high school to begin everyday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: FUNDAMENTAL CAMP
These camp sessions consist of fun action-packed days designed to develop each camper's fundamental skill and overall playing ability. Each camper will receive a T-shirt. Morton coaches and players will instruct camp.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: SHOOTING & OFFENSIVE SKILLS CAMP
Campers will receive instruction of the fundamentals of shooting. Campers will also be taught various offensive skills useful for becoming a better scorer. Each camper will receive a T-shirt. May be at the Jr. High.

BASEBALL
Camp will provide individual instruction in baseball fundamentals for young, aspiring ballplayers. Fundamental skills include: fielding ground and fly balls, proper throwing techniques, hitting and bunting skills, and base running and sliding technique. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt.

WRESTLING
Basic wrestling techniques will be taught to K-5 campers. Basic to advanced techniques will be taught to 6 - 12 campers. Freestyle and Greco-Roman techniques will also be introduced. Combative games and drills will be used to re-enforce techniques learned. All campers will receive a T-shirt.

CHEERLEADING
Clinic participants will learn a variety of cheers, chants, and dances as instructed by the M.H.S. Cheerleaders Emphasis will be placed on technique, enthusiasm, safety, and FUN! Participants will also be invited to perform the cheers they learned at the high school for Red/White Night on August 19th.

DANCE CAMP
Participants will learn a few dances instructed by the MHS Dance Team. Emphasis will be placed on technique, enthusiasm and FUN! Participants will perform for parents and friends on the third day at 10:00 am. VOLLEYBALL
Emphasis will b on volleyball fundamentals that cover the basic skill development of passing, setting, serving, and attacking. At all levels, the fundamentals will be taught as well as offense and defense systems. The 3-8 grade participants will receive instruction from the Morton coaching staff and varsity players. The 9-12 grade participants will receive instruction from the Illinois Wesleyan coaching staff and players for 3 of the 4 days. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CAMP
This camp is for High School players. All aspects of football will be covered. Camp will be full pads issued by the high school. All High School players are encouraged to attend. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt. Skill contest will be conducted on the last day of camp. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. In conjunction with the football camp, weight lifting will be offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays starting June 20th. See Morton Potter's Football website for times.

MORTON J.F.L. YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING

The Morton J.F.L. Offers a fall program of tackle & flag football in a variety of ages and weight appropriate teams. Games are played at the J.F.L. Fields located at Southwood Park. Cheerleaders perform at all home games and practice 2 times a week. The program runs from early August to late October with practice on weeknights and games on weekends against area teams. Registration begins on Saturday, May 14 and May 21 from 9:00am to Noon at the Freedom Hall building located at Birchwood Park. For more information please check the Morton J.F.L website.

CENTRAL ILLINOIS SOCCER ACADEMY BOYS & GIRLS JUNIOR DAY CAMP
The Junior Day Camp is designed to accommodate players just beginning their involvement with the game, as well as players who have previous experience. By grouping campers according to age and ability, and by evenly balancing teams during match play, players can develop and improve their game in a fun and exciting atmosphere that best suits their individual needs.
